Dear Friend
It is a joy to welcome you to the web page of the Cross Baptist Church. And to welcome you to the services
of our Church located
at 23654 U.S. Hwy 31 Falkville Al. (Lacon Mountain) just south of Interstate 65. If you are
traveling south on I-65, exit off at exit 318
(Hwy 31) and turn left. Approximately 1/2 mile up the road, the Church will
be on your left.
Our services begin each Sunday morning at 10 AM with Sunday School and 11 AM for Morning Worship. Sunday
evening starts at
5 PM and we begin our Wednesday evening service with supper at 6 PM, and Bible Study starts at
7 PM.
We are so privileged to have some of the most outstanding Bible teachers in our Sunday school classes and offer classes
for all
ages - children and adults alike. To learn from God's Word is such an awesome experience! We invite you to be with us
at 10:00
each Sunday morning to learn what God's Word has for you. Our Sunday School program is taught from the King James
Bible.
Our Music is made up of evangelistic music as we sing from the old red back Church Hymnal. We sing the "Southern
Gospel" style
of music using quartets, trios, duets and soloists as our special music. We wish to make our services an experience
of worship
and praise as it was in the days of our Christian heritage.
Our services are always open to the leading
of The Spirit of God and no service is closed to His direction. If you're looking for an
old fashioned, KJV, Baptist Church,
and a way of worship that will stir the soul, come visit with us at Cross Baptist Church.
As Pastor of Cross Baptist Church,
I wish to thank our Lord for sending us the people that I
sincerely believe will lead our Church into the future with God. Our
wish is to allow Him to be
at the helm, always directing and guiding in a way that will bring honor to His name and work.
I hope that you will soon give us an opportunity to serve you in The Lord.
If we can ever be of help
to you in anyway, please don't hesitate to call us.
(256) 297-2154 day or night. - 'We "will"
leave the phone on for you.'
"God
bless you" is our prayer!
